Save The Date Card Etiquette

People always want to know what the proper etiquette he is for the envelopes for the save the date cards. You might ask yourself can use computer-generated labels or can the envelopes be printed from a computer or must you address them by hand. Do you really have to be proper on your saved the date cards? Or can you just use your own personality and style to address save the date cards?

Well, do not worry I am going to address the situation. Save the date cards sometimes can be really confusing. If you are not a wedding planner or have never planned a event such as a wedding.

The formality of the save the date cards is completely up to you. If you would like the formality of your save the date cards to match with your wedding invitations by spelling out all of the abbreviations and your style that is completely up to you. You can be as informal as you would like. It is still a good idea to use formal titles such as Mr., Dr., Lieutenant, Corporal or whatever. If you're using a computer and a printer to print on your envelopes just make sure the envelopes don't smear when it comes out of the printer. You should definitely test this a few times before sending them out to make sure that they at least look pretty good. I myself would still write the address on the envelopes and not use some computer-generated labels to stick on the envelopes.

However, today's recognized etiquette for save the date cards it is fine to run your envelopes through a printer for the fancy font addresses. But I see it clearly better to hand address to all wedding correspondences.
